A while ago I wrote about Henry Darger. The tale of his secret life as an artist and how it all came out after his death. His own fantasy life, NOONE knew about.
Friedrich has a similar story, he too sought an alternative world. Scarily actually, it's like myself. And I am probably not alone about this.
Anyhow. This painting is his.
I'll write more about this man.
