Miuccia Prada

Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli are preparing to put their money where their passions are, revealing to New York Times chief art critic Michael Kimmelman their vision for Fondazione Prada's new Rem Koolhaas-designed museum in Milan to showcase contemporary art. In a feature on women who are "redrawing the art world" in this Sunday's issue of The New York Times Magazine, and which Prada graces the cover of, Kimmelman, who entitles his piece on Prada "The Patroness".

"It was a little ridiculous how I wanted to keep entirely separate the art and fashion," Prada says. "In the end, I am the same person."

As Madame.Horyn (in a review of Milan fashion week)said:" Milan is about Miuccia Prada and then everyone Else".....

The world of Fashion today listens to a few of the fashion principals and those are counted by the fingers on your hand; Alexander McQueen, John Galliano (too for DIOR), Marc Jacobs (too for Louis Vuitton), Prada (which to designs for Miu Miu) and a few others.

So whatever Madame Patroness says; will be listened to.
