And I am now So happy to finally get to style a story which will be an homage to him, that of his collection of S/S 2009. The girl of his: the cool degas ballerina!! in Linda Farrow and Natacha Marro for Charles, glasses and shoes.
Sunday is the day of the shoot, and I can Not wait for it to happen.
Fashion Designer and Illustrator Charles Anastase was born in 1979 to an academic French Mother and Armenian Architect Father. Mr. Anastase studied Political Sciences at the Lycee Charlemagne in Paris and started his career as an artist in 2002. His captivating pencil drawings travelled the world in a series of successful exhibitions in Paris, Vienna, Tokyo and Mexico. His works has been published in magazines like Purple and Dazed and Confused.
Charles’ ethereal collections are inspired by the beauty of the 19th century Victorian images, which he's loved since childhood. Charles’ signature silhouettes evoke a naivety but yet are executed with the precision of the tailors of Savile Row. Cool and conservative yet playful is the signature style of his designs. Charles Anastase is now based in London and his collection is available from the world’s most prestigious stores including Dover Street Market, 10 Corso Como, Browns and L’Eclaireur.
