A Lunch Date With the Lovely Artist Jenny Tallberg

Jenny Tallberg is one of my best friends! She is too an amazing artist. Also, when I am shooting something I feel is important, she is InValuable to me! I feel like I need her then to help me with her constant flow of wonderful ideas:)

Yesterday was the first for me coming to her house which I fell madly in love with, I could simply put not stop taking pictures....! It's full of inspirations, vintage & her art plus a wonderful wonderful kitchen where she cooked our lunch.

Dream A Little Dream by Venetia Scott for Vogue UK

DREAM A LITTLE DREAM

Venetia Scott is one of my absolute favorite artists, a woman who does both photography & styling brilliantly wonderful. She is one of those who makes me wanna go out there and create.

I Love this editorial she created for Vogue UK's October issue together with the stylist Bay Garnett featuring Georgia May Jagger as a dream in a fantasy flowery wonderland.

Venetia Scott is my Inspiration Friday!

Here is an older post I created a while ago full of inspirations as created by Mademoiselle Scott.

Enjoy.

An Alien Folklore Lisa Outfit For A Lunch Date With Artist (and bestie) Jenny Tallberg

Ohlalalala! How much do I adore thee? Mademoiselle Jenny Tallberg! Let me count the ways...!

You'll get to devour the house & art (plus some cooking) as created by this amazingly talented girl called Jenny tomorrow.

For now it will have to do with my outfit

grandma's gold heart
bangles from Screaming Mimis
Office loafers

beauty today is this poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning:

How Do I Love Thee?
"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace. I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right. I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death."

this beautiful poem brings to mind so many memories from my time in college (and a certain one of course in all my innocence).

A White Witch Tuesday

Yesterday morning I asked the universe for Adventure! I too decided that no matter what would happen, I would say YES;)

The morning started out beautifully misty. Went off for my morning walk and when entering the woods  I started  to listen to Elin Kling when she hosted Sommarprat i P1 this past July. She is such an inspiration, talk about Energy. "Kör Bara"! I decided to be The White Witch for my Tuesday.

Had breakfast, got dressed & went to Covent Garden, mainly to go to the apple store but also to explore this area a little more plus wanted to pay a visit to one fave place of mine which is Balthazar:) I met 2 strangers whom invited me to join them for lunch, and I did hesitate but then I was reminded of my promise to myself that no matter what happened today, I was to say YES! So I did. I have 2 new friends.  I was treated to an adorable lunch with wine & to explore a new place I'd never been, The Corinthia Hotel for some drinks.

Ended my day with Babel, a wonderful literary tv show from Sweden.

 and....remember children:

"You must learn, child, that what would be wrong for you or for any of the common people is not wrong in a great Queen such as I. The weight of the world is on our shoulders. We must be freed from all rules. Ours is a high and lonely destiny." - CS Lewis, The Magician's Nephew
