is mine and Martina Olsson's inspiration for our next shoot. Me styling model Helena S from Stockholmsgruppen for a German magazine.
Mr. David Hamilton grew up in London. His schooling was interrupted by World War 2. As an evacuee, he spent some time in the countryside of Dorset, which inspired his work till today. After the war, Hamilton returned to London and finished school before moving to France at age 20, where he has lived ever since. There he worked as a graphic designer for Elle magazine. He was then hired away from ELLE by Queen magazine in London as art director. Hamilton loonged for Paris, however, and after returning there became the art director of Printemps, Paris largest department store. Hamilton began photographing while still employed, and the dreamy, grainy style of his images quickly gave him success.
His photographs were published in magazines such as Realities, Twen and Photo. By the end of the 1960s, Hamilton's work had a recognizable style. More to his credit are: photographic books, five feature films, countless magazine publishings and scores of museum and gallery exhibitions. His style also came back into fashion at Vogue, ELLE and among other magazines from around 2003.
He divides his time between St Tropez and Paris.
His website is HERE.

Have you seen the film 'Valerie and Her Week Of Wonders'? It has a similar look to it, I think you would like it.
