A Victorian Outfit & Some Gloria & Isaure Magic

hey:)

how are you? how is thursday treating you?

my morning started as usual with my walk. it was not a very pleasant one because it was raining and being ice cold plus my radio app was not behaving and same with the podcast i wanted to listen to. hopefully the rest of the day is to be better. press days are starting to happen and i think i am to go to a couple of them today. hopefully to find wonders:)) then a coffee at the albion might happen!

i am too putting this up on my wall:

this is your life. do what you want and do it often.
if you don't like something, change it. if you don't like your job, quit. if you don't have enough time, stop watching tv. if you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. stop over-analysing, life is simple. all emotions are beautiful. when you eat, appreciate every last bite. life is simple. open your heart, mind and arms to new things and people, we are united in our differences. ask the next person you see what their passion is and share your inspiring dream with them. travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. some opportunities only come once, seize them. life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating.
life is short, live your dream and wear your passion.

how's tuesday treating you? what are you up to?

a quote:

dream with the dreamers and invent
things you never knew you had in you.
think with the thinkers and discover
ideas that mold who you are. smile at
strangers and make friends that last
a life time. laugh with friends and
let those memories burn through your
heart. travel with travelers and
explore a life beyond your imagination.
love only one, and grow old with your
best friend. let these things bring
fire to your soul. so when you look
back at your life, you'll have no
regrets. and you can leave this place,
better then when you found it.

smile at strangers and make friends that lasts a life time

"I change the angle, I feel emptiness, she tries & suggests to do what I want, do nothing I say, she waits, she stares, she sees my panic, I feel like I am letting her down and I press the button one time, 36 times....and tells her she's great. I do not want to be a photographer anymore"

hallelujah!

The Legend of Lady White Snake

A Tribute to the Late Mr. Alexander Le McQueen Starring Daphne Guinness Premiers Tonight in NY!

The Legend of Lady White Snake (quote from the producer's website) "A tribute to Alexander McQueen, and inspired by one of China’s most beloved ancient love stories, this film is a meditation on obsession and metamorphosis. "

The Chinese Legend (quote from I Learn Culture):

"There are many versions of the legend of “Madam White Snake” but generally, the story is set during the Southern Song dynasty.
It tells of a powerful female white snake demon, Bai Suzhen, and a green snake demon of lesser powers, Xiao Qing, that take on human form and become two beautiful women. They set home in human world and meet the scholar Xu Xian at the Broken Bridge. White snake eventually fell in love with him and marries him.
One day, Xu Xian visited a temple to pray for his family’s well-being and met the antagonist of the story, a Buddhist monk named Fa Hai who sensed the ‘devil scent’ on Xu Xian and warns Xu Xian that he married a snake demon and advises him to press her to drink some wine because it would change her in her real form.
Xu Xian follows that advice and because the white snake is pregnant and her magical powers are weakened, she turns on her snake form. When he saw her in her true form, he dies of fright. White snake was devastated and stole the magical herb from Mount Kunlun to save him."

Can't wait to see this film.

Love of Today: Marni at H&M

I am so proud of the Swedish company H&M! Such a leader in the world called fashion.

As a Swede growing up there, it was the clothes at H&M we (me and my adorable mother) went shopping for every season as a child. Later on as a teen it's where I went for my Saturday night dresses:)!

I am in love with Marni at H&M!

And Yes a certain Mademoiselle Sophia Coppola directed the ad campaign:) The first look of the campaign features our British actress Imogen Poots.

Images 2&3 are scans from Russian Vogue.

The wonders will be available to shop across the world from March 8.

My special LBD is actually created by a Mr. Karl Lagerfeld for this company.
