Is the next book i will be reading. It is about legendary Carmel Snow's life. The editor from the 30's to the 50's of Harpers Bazaar. Whom after a few years at Vouge and which boss was Mr. Conde Nast himslef, grew SO tired of noone listened to her ideas, she left them to Rival Harpers Bazaar and/ Mr. Hearst...
Mr. Conde Nast, NEVER spoke to her again.
She was a tiny lady with a great deal of temper and a knowledge of direction (sounds like lindha, hihi) like noone else. She worked side by side with more famous Miss. Vreeland. Who was a head taller and someone would notice on a MILES distance. Mrs. Snow, though did not mind. She valued Miss. Vreeland's talent and could also get across to her as an amazing editor can do to its staff.
As to make clear of tiny Miss. Snow's headstrong (again very similar to Lindha's by the way) personality. here is a famous Memo from Mogul AND Miss. Snow's boss, Mr. Hearst himself (TO ALL of HIS STAFF): " Does Anyone Have Any Control Over Mrs. Snow? I KNOW I don't".
