María Carolina Josefina Pacanins y Niño, born: January 8, 1939.
I once saw her at a movie theater in New York, the "Paris", where only French movies are shown and I immediately saw a beauty. It was only after a little while I realized who this charismatic woman was, Madame Carolina Herrera. Such Respect she shines.
She was born in Caracas, Venezuela but has been based in New York since 1981. She is married to Reinaldo Herrera Guevara, Marqués de Torre Casa, an editor at Vanity Fair magazine. She has 4 children, 2 of them with an ex husband.
She was on of the best dressed women in the world during the 1970s and 1980s and her empire grew so rapidly and steadily since its creation, that she went on to dress Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis for the last twelve years of her life.
Her designs has since day one been lady like, full of glamour. Really clothes that does fit herself perfectly.
