Nothing captures a fashion moment like a designer's first drawing for a dress. Laird Borrelli, a fashion historian and too a deer kind friend has collected the works of 60 international designers, getting them to unpin their art from those inspiration boards. The wonders of Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Lacroix handed over drawings, as well as fashionable newcomers, Christopher Kane and Rodarte. All shares a deep affection for the art of illustration.
As do I. I acatually have an original illustration by Mr. Karl Lagerfeld in my house.... old from the 70's. Someone i worked with wanted to throw it out, so i took it in deep care.
