Inspiration Friday is Sibylle Bergemann

A couple of years ago I was in New York on vacation, it was my last day and I went to the International Center of Photography and its bookshop. There I found this book that I fell madly in love with, started to take iPhone images out of the book and took so many snaps that the store lady came up to me to say that I was not allowed to photograph the whole book, ohlalala. I bought that book a week ago at The National Portrait Gallery so I now own it:))

They way I felt when I found her book, is how I want for other people to feel when they see my creations. That is my goal.

Sibylle Bergemann (1941-2010) was a German photographer.

So much work of Sibylle to show but I decided on these ones. Some people argue that her most important works are the black & white photographs she captured from everyday life in East Germany. One link to other amazing photos she created can be seen on Art
