Zac Posen

Party dress, bow, was there ever a more predictable combination? But ZP makes the bow part of the architecture of the dress, rather than just adding it as a gaudy decoration, then chooses a muting color as somber counterbalance (would have liked to seen him go even a step grayer, and minus the Weetabix). Nothing revolutionary, but a bit of cleverness within the strict rules of the mass-market party dress.

The wheat schaff works better here. This dress carries both Emma Rossum innocence and Bond dynastic vixen in Singapore poison. It may be in the petals of that dress, a hanging utopian rose.
