the other day i stumbled upon the magic of hans zatzka on pinterest & i have fallen madly in love. the girls, angels, swans, wonderful clothing, miracles, children, peace & happiness. beyond magic wonderfulness.
there is not much information about this talented artist, hans zatzka (1859-ca1945) but he did study at academie des beaux-arts and he dedicated most of his life to decorate the beautiful churches (the very many) in vienna. he is too very well known for his stunning magical paintings of women, faeries & mythological subjects.
